61-year-old West Allis man arrested for 5th DUI offense

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- 61-year-old Ronald Bourbonias of West Allis was arrested Thursday night, August 1st for a DUI, fifth offense.

According to authorities, Bourbonais was stopped for speeding and lane deviation near N. 25th and St. Paul. Bourbonais performed poorly on standardized field sobriety tests.

Bourbonais has four prior DUI convictions - October 1993, November 1997, October 2000 and June 2000 - which prohibits him from having a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of greater than .02.  His PBT was .06.

During an inventory of his vehicle before towing, an open can of beer was found, along with another concealed in a hat between the seats.

Bourbonais faces up to six years in prison, if convicted.
