Case of mistaken identity at Cincinnati casino on Saturday

(CNN) -- It was a startling case of mistaken identity at the Horseshoe Casino in Cincinnati on Saturday, August 10th.

Kevin Lewis was named the second of three winners in a $1 million promotional giveaway.

The only problem was: He was not the right Kevin Lewis!

The real winner was another man, also named Kevin Lewis, who was at home at the time.

"There are a lot of similarities between these two Kevin Lewis's with age and things like that. It was one of those mistakes you couldn't have scripted if you wanted to,"

The casino says it has a two-step verification process that failed.

The casino says it is committed to doing the right thing for its guests, and awarded BOTH men with $1 million winnings.
