Police seeking assistance identifying person of interest

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Milwaukee police are asking for assistance in identifying a person of interest in an armed robbery and shooting that happened in the 2600 block of W. Wisconsin on August 15th.

Police say four suspects approached a 32-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman behind their home in the 3400 block of N. Bremen at about 10:45 p.m. on August 15th.

Police say the suspects, who seemed to be familiar with the male victim, forced the victims into their home where they took electronics.

One suspect then forced the victim to drive to an ATM in the 2600 block of W. Wisconsin where he shot the victim in the hand and ordered him to withdraw money.

The suspect then fled in the victims car, which was later recovered a few blocks away.
