Man killed in crash involving utility pole in Kenosha County

KENOSHA (WITI) — Kenosha County Sheriff’s officials say a man was killed in a crash involving a utility pole on Thursday morning, August 22nd. The man has been identified at 27-year-old Anthony Giles.

It happened in the 3200 block of 72nd Avenue.

Sheriff’s officials say a 2008 Jeep left the roadway and struck a utility pole.

The Jeep’s driver was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
