Sheriff's officials arrest fourth wrong-way driver in less than one week

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee County Sheriff's officials have arrested another wrong-way drunk driver. By FOX6's count, this is the fourth wrong-way drunk driver arrested in less than one week.

22-year-old Mariah Reetz of Milwaukee was stopped Thursday morning, August 22nd just before 2:30 a.m. on I-43 northbound.

Deputies arrived and administered a PBT on the scene, with a result of .24. Reetz had an empty bottle of cabernet sauvignon on the floor of the passenger seat.

Reetz faces charges of 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, DUI-1st, and Operating with Prohibited Alcohol Content. If convicted, she faces up to ten years in prison.

By FOX6's count, there have been FOUR incidents involving wrong-way drunk drivers since last Friday in Milwaukee County:

August 20th: David Dennis (Highway 45 at Florist)
August 22nd: Mariah Reetz (I-43 Northbound)
