At 11 p.m., a 33-year-old man was shot just south of 39th and Hampton during what he described as a robbery attempt. He suffered a non-life-threatening injury and stated initially that he was in the area to buy drugs when he was shot.

Shortly after midnight, a 21-year-old woman was shot while standing outside of a bar near Congress and Appleton Ave. The woman does not appear to be the target of the shooting, which occurred during some kind of altercation outside of the bar. She suffered a non-life-threatening injury.
