Officials respond to death investigation in Town of Mitchell

SHEBOYGAN COUNTY (WITI) — Sheboygan County Sheriff’s officials are investigating a death that occurred Tuesday, August 27th near County Highway W and County Highway A in the Town of Mitchell.

It happened a little before 4:30 p.m.

Officials say a 60-year-old man was located in a three-foot hole he was digging inside of a barn.

The man was pronounced dead of an accidental positional asphyxiation.
