Back-To-School golf outing held in honor of boy lost to cancer

HARTLAND (WITI) -- A Back-To-School golf outing was held on Monday, September 9th in honor of Jack Bartosz, a little boy who lost his battle with cancer.

Golfers gathered Monday at the Chenequa Country Club in Hartland for the "Gold in September" event.

It was started by a little girl named Annie -- Jack's twin sister.

Soon after 10-year-old Jack was diagnosed with cancer, a foundation was started in his name.

"The I Back Jack Foundation was started in honor of Jack Bartosz, but the foundation was never about one little boy, but rather, because of one little boy. We knew that he could help us a story of hope and happiness for children diagnosed -- not just here in Wisconsin -- but across the nation," Jack's mother, Sarah Bartosz said.
