NEW YORK (WITI) — Earth Cam assembled and released on Wednesday, September 11th, a stunning time-lapse video showing the progress of One World Trade Center in New York City from October 2004 through September 2013.

Hundreds of thousands of high definition images were captured over the past 9 years and hand-edited for this special time-lapse movie.

One World Trade Center is the tallest building in the western hemisphere at 1,776 feet.
