Special Olympics sends 50 people down side of Milwaukee high-rise

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — About 50 people rappelled down the side of the City Center at 735 high-rise in downtown Milwaukee Friday, raising $60,000 for Special Olympics Wisconsin. Among them were FOX6’s Angelica Duria and Chip Brewster.

It is the third year that Special Olympics Wisconsin has held the event at the City Center building, 735 N. Water St., to raise money. As in past years, the nonprofit contracted with Over the Edge, based in Nova Scotia, Canada, to organize the event.
