Brewers rally in 8th, beat Reds

MILWAUKEE (WITI)– The Reds jumped out ahead of the Crew early in the finale of the 3 game series at Miller Park.  Cincinnati led 4-0 going into the bottom of the 5th but Caleb Gindl got the Brewers on the board with a solo shot to center.

The Crews comeback magic came in the bottom of the 8th when trailing 5-2, Jean Segura hit a 2 run triple. Jonathan Lucroy then brough Segura home with a sac fly.

Sean Halton’s Walk Off homer in the bottom of the 9th was the icing on the cake and the Crew wins this one 6-5.

Starter Yovani Gallardo went 6 innings pitched, allowing 5 runs on 7 hits with 5 strikeouts. Jim Henderson gets the W, his 4th win of the season. Henderson went 1 inning with 2 K’s and no hits/runs.
