Police respond to bomb threat at Kmart store on Highway 100

WAUWATOSA (WITI) -- Wauwatosa police say they responded to a bomb threat on Tuesday, September 17th at the Kmart store on Highway 100 and Burleigh.

According to police, a call came in to the store just after 4:00 p.m. from an individual who said there was a bomb in the building, and he wanted $500 placed on a Green Dot card, or he would set the device off.

Kmart officials evacuated the building and the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office's Bomb Squad was called in to search the building.

This comes after three bomb threats on Monday -- two at Walgreens stores and one at Walmart.
