Rescued reptiles heading for new home in Myrtle Beach

RACINE (WITI) -- Ten reptiles rescued from a home in Kenosha County in May are heading for a new home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

The animals include five rattlesnakes, two American alligators, one crocodile, one alligator snapping turtle, and one Gila monster. They've been cared for at the Racine Zoo since the middle of May. That's when Kenosha police found all of the reptiles inside a home near 53rd St. and 14th Ave.

The reptiles are headed for a new home at "Alligator Adventure," an animal rescue facility in Myrtle Beach. Related stories:
