Bucks to hold Fan Fest, annual open practice October 5th

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- In a city known for its festivals, it’s only right that the Milwaukee Bucks would host a party for their supporters. For the first time ever, the Bucks will hold a Fan Fest prior to their annual open practice at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Both events on Saturday, Oct. 5, are free, with the Fest tipping off the day’s activities at 10 a.m. and the practice following at 2 p.m.

The inaugural Fan Fest will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with doors opening at 9:30 a.m. The event will include opportunities for autographs and photos with current players, coaches and broadcasters, interactive games, a FOX Sports Wisconsin “Be a Sports Anchor” booth, appearances by Bucks game night entertainment crews, a “yard sale” featuring Bucks memorabilia and much more. For additional information and to download and print free Fan Fest tickets, visit Bucks.com/FanFest. A Bucks Fan Fest flier with additional information is attached as well.

The annual open practice will follow and run from 2 to 3 p.m. It will provide a rare peek into the inner-workings of an NBA team and a first look at the new faces on the Bucks squad. Practice will take place on the newly-designed BMO Harris Bradley Center court, and most seating will be unreserved in the lower bowl on a first-come, first-served basis.

During the transition time between Fan Fest and the start of the open practice, Head Coach Larry Drew and General Manager John Hammond will participate in a Q-and-A, followed by performances from Bucks entertainment groups. After the practice, there will be a half-court shooting event that matches each player with a selected fan to attempt to win a Bucks ticket package.
