SHEBOYGAN (WITI) — 52-year-old Cynthia Erdmann of Sheboygan has been charged in connection with an incident in which she allegedly threatened her boyfriend with a rock.

Erdmann faces one count of disorderly conduct, domestic abuse.

Officials were dispatched to an apartment on St. Clair Avenue in Sheboygan on Thursday, September 26th.

There, they found Erdmann yelling and screaming at her boyfriend, according to a criminal complaint in the case.

When an officer spoke with Erdmann, she said she did not know why the officer was there. The officer asked Erdmann why she was yelling and screaming and she didn’t reply — later saying she and her boyfriend were not fighting, according to the complaint.

Officials spoke with the 911 caller, who was a downstairs neighbor. He said he had observed Erdmann holding a rock over her boyfriend’s head, trying to hit him, according to the complaint.

A neighbor told officials he had heard the man yelling for help and rushed upstairs. When he entered the apartment, he found the man in bed naked, with Erdmann over him, holding a rock — attempting to hit him with it, according to the criminal complaint.

When officials spoke with Erdmann’s boyfriend, he said he didn’t want to get the woman in trouble. He told officials Erdmann is on eight different medications and had been drinking, according to the complaint.
