Two injured following two separate shooting incidents

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating two separate shooting incidents that occurred Wednesday night, September 25th.

The first shooting incident occurred near 22nd and Townsend around 7:30 p.m.

According to police, a 24-year-old man sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the abdomen.

No suspects are in custody.

The second shooting occurred around 9:00 p.m. near Burleigh and Hopkins. Police say a 17-year-old man sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound in the back.

No suspects are in custody -- but police say they are searching for a known suspect.
