Brewers beat Mets again, 4-2

FLUSHING MEADOW, N.Y. -- Nori Aoki hit a leadoff homer; three batters later, Khris Davis socked a 2-run shot; and Yovani Gallardo went six innings to earn his 12th win in the Brewers 4-2 victory over the Mets, Friday night. Jim Henderson pitched the 9th inning for his 28th save in 32 tries.
The Crew are closing strong; by winning their 3rd straight game, and 5th in the last 6, they avoid a 90 loss season.
The team announced that they're picking up the option on Aoki for next year, and Jean Segura will not be allowed to play winter ball in the Dominic Republic; the Brewers want him to rest.
Game three-the 2nd to the last of the season-is scheduled for Saturday at 3:10 central time.
Segura missed his 9th consecutive game with a hamstring injury; Davis was forced out of Friday's game in the 8th inning with a hamstring issue as well.
