Zac Blohm has big plans for West Allis playground

WEST ALLIS (WITI) -- He's a Boy Scout with big plans for a playground at Jefferson Elementary in West Allis; a playground that services 570 kids.

Zac Blohm has been in scouts for most of his life. Now, the Oak Creek High School freshman is going for his Eagle rank. He hopes to accomplish that goal by fundraising for a playground that will be dedicated in his sister's honor. Little Veronica was born at 34 weeks and died earlier this year from an apnea incident. So Zac intends to name the playground "Veronica's Place."

Zac needs to raise $55,000 just to get all the materials for the project. But he has strong conviction -- and needs your support. Zac took time out of his busy day to chat with the Studio A team.
