Armed robbery suspects waive right to preliminary hearing

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Two suspects charged in connection with a series of armed robberies in Milwaukee appeared in court on Monday, October 14th.

Gary Winters and Decarus Fluker, both age 17, face three counts of armed robbery as party to a crime. Additionally, Fluker faces one count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery for crimes that occurred throughout the month of September.

In court Monday, Winters and Fluker waived their rights to a preliminary hearing — and were bound over for trial.

Winters will enter a plea to the charges against him on Monday, October 28th.

Fluker pleaded not guilty to the four counts of armed robbery against him. He too will be back in court on October 28th — for a scheduling conference.
