DMV launches new mobile driver test app

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- In conjunction with National Teen Driver Safety Week, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation's Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has launched a free Drivers Practice Test mobile app.

"The practice test app is a great way to prepare teens or anyone taking the written driver test for the real thing. Many of our customers have smart phones, so this allows us to deliver information through their preferred communication device. We hope this app will significantly increase test success for drivers in our state," notes DMV administrator Patrick Fernan.

The app is currently available in the iTunes store under "WI DMV Driver Practice Test," and can be downloaded to both an iPhone and iPad at no cost. An Android version can also be found at Google play.

Users take a quick 15 question multiple choice test and can review their scores instantly. Test takers can see what questions were incorrect and reference the correct answer. They can also share test scores to different social media platforms. Users have the ability to retake the test as many times as desired and track their scores over time.

More on the new Drivers Practice Test app can be found at the DMV's web site www.drivertest.dot.wi.gov.
