SHEBOYGAN (WITI) — Sheboygan police are investigating a crash that resulted in the death of a pedestrian, 56-year-old Michele Lilge of Kohler.

Police indicate they received several 911 calls about the car vs. pedestrian crash just before 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29th. Witness accounts and an investigation shows Lilge was crossing Washington Ave. at S. Business Dr. when she was struck by a westbound car driven by a 63-year-old Hingham man.

Lilge was taken to Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.

The driver of the car as well as a passenger in the car were treated for minor injuries.

Neither speed nor alcohol appears to have contributed to the crash.
