Shorewood police seek to identify two armed robbery suspects

SHOREWOOD (WITI) -- Shorewood police are searching for two suspects in connection with an armed robbery that occurred Tuesday night, October 29th near the corner of Murray and Marion.

Police say a female was robbed of her property while walking in the area of N. Murray Avenue at approximately 7:04 p.m.

According to officials, one suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded her property. The suspects then fled the scene on foot while the victim walked to a business to call police.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 5'7" to 5'8" tall, thin build, late teens, shaved head, clean shaven, possibly wearing diamond stud earrings in each ear. Suspect #2 is described as a male, black, 5'7" to 5'8" tall, short hair, late teens, and clean shaven. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket with red and yellow bands across the middle.

This robbery may be related to a similar incident which occurred at E. Locust and N. Weil in Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood around 8:00 p.m.
