Construction worker falls from bridge in La Crosse Wednesday
LA CROSSE (WITI) -- A construction worker was seriously injured Wednesday, November 6th after falling from a bridge.
Officials say the 19-year-old worker fell 40 to 50 feet, landing on a metal platform.
The bridge crosses the Mississippi River.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation stopped construction on the area of the project while investigators look into what happened.
