MOUNT PLEASANT (WITI) — Officials in Mount Pleasant say a child was struck by a vehicle on Saturday afternoon, November 9th.

It happened just after 2:00 p.m. in the 3000 block of Gates Street in the Village of Mount Pleasant.

Officials say a seven-year-old boy suffered a cut to his leg/knee area. The boy was apparently playing with friends and ran into the roadway.
