Menomonee Falls couple has two sets of identical twins

MENOMONEE FALLS (WITI) -- Everything seems to come in pairs at the Kreuser house, whether it's little feet, toys, or the number of people in the family.

"We had never had one child, so we didn't know any different. We had nothing to compare it to," said Melissa Kreuser.

Mike and Melissa's adventure began three-and-a-half years ago when they found out they were having their first baby. Little did they know, they wouldn't be leaving the hospital with just one.

"I had just gotten done telling my doctor that I didn't think that I was really pregnant and I was probably there for nothing and she said well we'll see. So she did the ultrasound and that's when we saw two babies," said Melissa.

Without fertility treatment or even a single set of twins in their family, Mike and Melissa were shocked. Nine months later they had two healthy identical twin girls, Delilah and Linea.

"The second they were born it was like this love just pours out of you and you just think how was my life ever complete before this," said Melissa.

But only two years later the couple received news they never expected to hear.

"I saw two on the screen again and I just I didn't know what to say," said Melissa.

"She's like Mike it's twins again and then pretty much like everybody else I've told had exactly the same reaction, 'Seriously,'" said Mike.

The couple was pregnant with another set of identical twins! Seven weeks ago, Michael and Gabriel were born.

"Every once in a while you have a quiet moment and you know just hold onto it because it's not going to last," said Melissa.

Now the family is very busy both loving and adjusting to their new lifestyle.
