Green Bay Packers fall to New York Giants, 27-13

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (WITI) -- The Green Bay Packers fell to the New York Giants Sunday, November 17th at MetLife Stadium.

This week, the Packers were without backup quarterback Seneca Wallace, who was placed on injured reserve after he suffered a groin injury in last Sunday's matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Former Wisconsin Badgers QB Scott Tolzien started at QB this Sunday at MetLife Stadium.

The Pack got off to a slow start only having 6 plays in their first 2 drives.  At halftime, the Giants were leading the Pack, 10-6.  Kicker Mason Crosby was 2-2, including a 57 yard strike.

Tolzien's performance had it's ups and downs. The ups: his yardage. Tolzien finished with 339 yards. The Downs: his 3 picks.  In the 4th quarter he was picked off by Jason Pierre-Paul for a 24 yard interception return.

The Giants were able to stop Packers' hot RB Eddie Lacy; limiting him to just 14 carries and 27 yards.  However he did have the only Packer TD of the game; a 4 yard run in the 4th quarter.

The Pack fall to 5-5 on the season, now in 2nd place in the NFC. Chicago and Detroit are tied for 1st at 6-4.

The Pack will host the struggling, 2-8, Minnesota Vikings at noon on Sunday November, 24th.
