Kohl’s donates $50,000 to Red Cross for typhoon relief

MENOMONEE FALLS (WITI) — Kohl’s Department Stores announced on Friday, November 15th a $50,000 cash donation toward Typhoon Haiyan relief efforts in the Philippines.

Kohl’s is providing this donation to the American Red Cross, which is delivering much-needed emergency supplies and services in the impacted areas. 

In a statement released on Friday, Michelle Gass, Kohl’s chief customer officer said, “We are deeply saddened by the devastation and heartache experienced by so many people throughout the Philippines. Kohl’s is proud to be in a position to help and hope the financial assistance will provide needed support during this difficult time.”
