Shooting near 63rd and Thurston

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — One man is shot and wounded after a fight leads to gunfire on Milwaukee’s north side on Wednesday afternoon, November 20th.

Police say the fight broke out around 3:30 p.m. near 63rd and Thurston. They say it escalated and there was gunfire.

A 20-year-old man was shot twice. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

There are no suspects in custody — and police say there is no immediate danger for people living in the neighborhood.
