DMV customer service centers closed November 28 and 29

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Wisconsin Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) customer service centers will be closed for business Thanksgiving Day and on Friday, November 29.

DMV’s automated phone system will remain available so that motorists can still make road test appointments and have access to recorded information.

The DMV would like to remind all customers that many services such as license plate registration renewal and vehicle titling do not require a trip to a customer service center and can be handled online, through the mail or by other third-party service providers such as some police stations, grocery stores and financial institutions around the state.

For more information, check the official Wisconsin DMV web site: www.wisconsindmv.gov. Remember to always look for.gov in the web address. Web sites with .org or .com are for-profit sites that will charge for forms that are always free from www.wisconsindmv.gov.

All DMV offices will resume regular business hours on Monday, December 2.
