Man struck by car in Brown Deer

BROWN DEER (WITI) — A 24-year-old man from Milwaukee was hurt after running into the side of a moving car at Green Bay Rd. and Deerwood Dr. just after 11 a.m. on Friday, November 22nd.

The investigation indicates the driver, a 43-year-old man, was driving northbound on Green Bay Road.  The pedestrian was running westbound through the intersection, not in a crosswalk, from Market Place Shopping Center Avenue crossing Green Bay Road. The pedestrian apparently ran into the passenger side of the vehicle.

The pedestrian suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported by North Shore Fire Department to a hospital.
