Packers fans, deer hunt, Leo Frigo Bridge may clog highways

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is reminding motorists going to and from Lambeau Field on Sunday, November 24 for the Green Bay Packers game that they will experience heavier than usual traffic due to the closure of the Leo Frigo (I-43) Bridge, construction on US 41 and WIS 29, and the return of deer hunters on Sunday.

Be prepared for closures, orange barrels, narrow lanes, soft shoulders and increased volume from the Leo Frigo to affect game day travel.

WisDOT strongly recommends motorists allow themselves additional time to reach their destinations.

Here is a list of the major roads in northeast Wisconsin most Packers fans will be traveling as they head for the game and the road conditions they should anticipate:

    All construction on US 41 will cease on Packer game day, although barrier walls and orange barrels will be present in various locations.
