PUERTO AVENTURAS, Mexico — Sam Dekker had a career night as the 10th ranked Wisconsin Badgers kept their unbeaten record intact with a 70-63 win over West Virginia to win the Cancun Challenge Wednesday.
Sam had a “Double Dekker” for Bo Ryan’s team; he scored 21 points and snared 12 rebounds; both are career highs.
Guard Ben Brust added 16 points for the 8-0 Badgers. Dekker was named tournament MVP while Traevon Jackson joined him on the six-member all-tournament team.
