One dead following single-vehicle crash in Town of Mosel

SHEBOYGAN (WITI) -- An 18-year-old man is dead following a single-vehicle accident that occurred early Friday morning, November 29th on County Road LS near Rowe Road in the Town of Mosel.

According to authorities, officials responded to the scene around 2:07 a.m. after receiving two separate phone calls about a possible motor vehicle accident.

When officials arrived on the scene, they discovered that three occupants were traveling in the vehicle.

Police say 18-year-old William Oakley was ejected from the vehicle and died as a result of his injuries. 18-year-old Guy Kosolek was taken to Theda Clark by Flight for Life. The driver, 18-year-old Steven McGrew, was taken by ambulance to Aurora Medical Center.

A preliminary investigation indicates that the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed on County Road LS prior to the crash.

According to police, the vehicle entered the east shoulder briefly, corrected and then rolled over numerous times. The vehicle then entered the west ditch, north of Rowe Road, and overturned again.

The accident is still under investigation
