RACINE (WITI) — FOX6 News has learned one of those involved in weather-related traffic incidents on Sunday, December 8th is Kathleen Vinehout.
The following message was posted on Kathleen Vinehout’s Facebook page on Sunday:
” Thank you to everyone who has been asking about Kathleen. Here’s what we know so far. Kathleen’s vehicle was involved in a multi-car accident on I-94 near Racine (Sunday) morning. She is currently receiving care at a local hospital. If more details become available we will do our best to let you know.”
Vinehout is a senator in the 31st Senate District, and is a Democrat.
All lanes of southbound I-94 at County Highway K reopened on Sunday afternoon following a multiple-vehicle wreck.
Motorists were being routed off the interstate at County Highway K, and were allowed to re-enter the interstate at Highway 20.
At this point, it is unclear exactly which traffic incident in Racine Vinehout was involved in.
