Aaron Rodgers still not medically cleared to play

GREEN BAY (WITI) -- Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy says quarterback Aaron Rodgers is still not medically cleared to play. That word came during a news conference on early Wednesday afternoon, December 11th.

The Packers will be traveling to Dallas to take on the Tony Romo and the Cowboys on Sunday.

McCarthy said Rodgers will do more on Thursday -- and see how he feels. McCarthy said he is optimistic Rodgers will get back to full strength -- but he does not know when that will be.

Meanwhile, Packers running back Eddie Lacy is in rehab Wednesday. McCarthy said he will be evaluated and may practice on Friday.
