One dead following single-vehicle crash in Burlington

BURLINGTON (WITI) — A 26-year-old Town of Burlington man is dead following a single-vehicle accident that occurred on Browns Lake Drive on early Saturday morning, December 14th.

Officials responded to the scene around 12:50 a.m. for reports of a single-vehicle crash involving a utility pole.

The 26-year-old male, and sole occupant of the vehicle, was extracted from his vehicle and transported to Aurora Memorial Hospital — where he was pronounced dead.

The City of Burlington Police Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol are conducting an ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash.
