Milwaukee police announce arrests in two separate robbery cases

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police have announced the arrest of four individuals in connection with two separate armed robbery cases.

MPD arrested three teen boys -- ages 15, 16 and 19 for a strong armed robbery that occurred in the 3000 block of N. Frederick on Saturday, December 14th at 1:45 p.m.

Police say the victim was walking when she was accosted by the suspects, who took her property.

Police were called and descriptions of the suspects were given.

Two MPD officers responded to the area and were able to take the three suspects into custody and recover the victim's property.

Police say one of the suspects confessed to the crime.

Police also announced the arrest of a 29-year-old man for a Craigslist-related armed robbery that occurred on December 14th just before 11:00 a.m. in the 6400 block of W. Silver Spring.

Police say the victim went to that location to conduct a Craigslist-related transaction when he was robbed.

Police were able to follow up and identify a suspect who was taken into custody around 5:00 p.m.

The victim's property was recovered from the suspect and the victim was able to identify him via a photo array.
