$20,000 winning Mega Millions ticket sold in Oakdale

MADISON (WITI) — When sales across the country were finally tabulated early Wednesday, December 18th it turned out the jackpot for the Tuesday night Mega Millions drawing came in above the advertised amount of $636 million.

The actual jackpot: $648 million.  $347.6 million cash.

While California and Georgia won shares of that huge jackpot Wisconsin had 8 big winners, including one winner of $20,000.

The $20,000 winning ticket was sold in Oakdale at Love’s Travel Stop, 220 N. Oakwood St.

There were also seven $5,000 winners in Wisconsin Tuesday night.  Those tickets were sold in Brodhead, Delafield, Milwaukee (2), Oregon, West Bend and Whitewater.

Tuesday night’s winning Mega Millions numbers were 08, 14, 17, 20 and 39 with a Mega Ball of 07. The Megaplier prize multiplier was 04.

Winners at all prize levels have 180 days from the date of the drawing to validate their tickets.
