Republican Ken Skowronski wins 82nd Assembly District seat

FRANKLIN (WITI) — Republican Ken Skowronski has defeated Democrat John Hermes in a special election to fill the 82nd Assembly District seat previously held by Rep. Jeff Stone.

Skowronski received 3951 votes while Hermes received 2195 votes.

Representative Jeff Stone (R-Greendale) announced resignation from the Wisconsin State Assembly in October. Representative Stone represented the people of the 82nd Assembly District since winning a special election in April 1998.
