Wis. Humane Society surpasses 10,000 adoptions for 2013

Ritchie family of Brookfield adopts January & Thunder Munchkin

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — The Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) has surpassed 10,000 adoptions for 2013.

January and Thunder Munchkin were WHS’s 10,000th and 10,001st adoption on Tuesday, December 31st.  The Ritchie family of Brookfield was so excited to adopt not just one, but two adorable, rambunctious kittens.

Available animals can be viewed at www.wihumane.org, and potential adopters can fill out an adoption profile online ahead of time.

All three humane society campuses are closed on January 1, 2014 in celebration of New Year’s Day.
