Two arrested in connection with armed robbery at Speedway

FOND DU LAC (WITI) — Fond du Lac police arrested two Fond du Lac men, ages 59 and 36, for their involvement in the January 5th armed robbery of the Speedway gas station located at 550 W. Johnson Street.

According to police, one of the men arrested had originally identified himself as a witness to the robbery, but the Police Department’s investigation revealed he was acting as a lookout.

The second suspect was arrested for actually committing the robbery.

Both men were transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail after their arrest and are being held on charges of Armed Robbery, Party to a Crime of Armed Robbery and two Fond du Lac County warrants.

No further information regarding this incident is currently available pending the District Attorney’s review of the criminal complaint.
