Sheriff's officials investigate vandalism/theft at two Co. parks

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is investigating two recent incidents of vandalism/theft from bathrooms at Milwaukee County Parks.

One incident reportedly occurred at Humboldt Park on Sunday, January 19th.

A Milwaukee County Sheriff's spokeswoman says broken pipes and graffiti were found on the inside of the bathrooms at the park, located at the intersection of Howell and Oklahoma.

The suspect or suspects in this case are facing criminal damage to property charges.

The second incident occurred at Jacobus Park in Wauwatosa.

A Sheriff's spokeswoman says three sets of galvanized pipes were stolen from the bathrooms.

The thefts were reported by County Parks employees.

The Sheriff's Office continues to investigate both incidents.

No one has been taken into custody regarding either incident.
