Crews called to house fire near E. Bank & N. Park in Fond du Lac

FOND DU LAC (WITI) — Crews responded to the scene of a house fire on E. Bank near N. Park in Fond du Lac early Friday morning, January 24th.

Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy fire conditions from the first floor front room of the single family residence. Crews were advised by dispatch that all occupants were safely out of the house. 

Fire crews worked quickly to stop the spread of the fire, but not before the fire extended into the basement and the attic space. Additionally, much of the home suffered extensive smoke and heat damage.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and is under investigation.

There is no damage estimate available and no injuries reported.
