Milwaukee police make ten arrests in prostitution sting

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Milwaukee police arrested nine people in a prostitution sting at a motel on the city’s south side on Wednesday, January 22nd. The sting involved members of MPD as well as the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office.

Three men and seven women were taken into custody. One of the men arrested is a convicted felon and officers discovered a pistol in the glove box of his car. One of the women arrested had a $50,000 warrant out of Missouri for her arrest on drug charges.

The three men involved were arrested on pandering charges with one of the men also arrested on charges of Felon in Possession and Possession of Controlled Substance.

Five of the women were arrested on prostitution charges, one on pandering, and one on solicitation.

The case will be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
