Woman injured in snowmobile crash in Town of Auburn

TOWN OF AUBURN (WITI) — A 48-year-old Campbellsport woman sustained serious injuries following a snowmobile accident on Sunday, February 2nd near Mill Pond Road and Capital Drive in the Town of Auburn.

According to officials, the crash occurred when a snowmobile, operated by a 48-year-Campbellsport woman, lost control on the maintained snowmobile trail, became airborne, and rolled several times.

The female was transported from the scene by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.

Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash.
