Badgers Jackson shoots down Spartans, 60-58

MADISON -- Traveon Jackson makes mistakes on the court that hurt his team from time to time, but there is no denying his ability to make the big shot; Mr. Clutch was at it again in Sunday's 60-58 Badgers win over Michigan State.
Seconds after Adreian Payne's 3 pointer tied the game, Jackson sped up court and calmly dropped in a 10 foot jumper with 2.1 ticks left to provide the margin of victory.
The Badgers (19-5, 6-5 Big Ten) committed 14 turnovers, 6 more than their NCAA-leading 8.3 per game.
Freshman Nigel Hayes led Wisconsin with 14 points off the bench. Payne scored 24 for the Spartans (20-4, 9-2).
