Woman pulled from house fire in South Milwaukee

SOUTH MILWAUKEE (WITI) — South Milwaukee firefighters pulled a woman from the second floor of a house fire on St. Sylvester Dr. on Thursday afternoon, February 27th.

Fire crews responded to the scene just after 1:30 p.m. — after hearing of reports of fire on the first floor of the home. Firefighters found the woman who is in her 50s — and got her to safety. She was taken to Columbia St. Mary’s for treatment.

The State Fire Marshal has been called to the scene to assist in the investigation.
