Steven…did you read the article? “Tickets for the event are $50, and benefit MATC’s Black Student Union.” She is speaking to promote social change, awareness, and tolerance. Proceeds from the event will be going to school clubs/student activities. Of course she will receive compensation for her time and travel expensive, and rightfully so. And why, anonymous user, are you referring to her as a failure as a mother? Because she wants to publicly speak about her son’s death in the hopes that it might shed light on someone else’s life? Oh yes, what an atrocity (said thick with sarcasm).

ignorance is alive and well on this post. Steven maybe you should go back reread this article as well as how her son was murdered. His criminal public death? Clearly you have a reading disability or comprehension issue because Trayvon was walking home with an ice tea and a bag of skittles he was not robbing a bank, mugging an old woman, etc, so where does criminal come in? Idiot,…Next runner up for idiot of the nation goes to “Just Me” how did she fail her son? Please we are all dying for you to elaborate your nonsense theory. The only person that failed here is George Zimmerman who is repeatedly committing crimes and still is in the papers around the country. You probably missed that. Scum bags

  • FACTS please!

Sabrina Fulton is the Cindy Sheehan of the Black Grievance Industry.
Treyvon was mainly raised by his stepmom, not her. By all accounts his stepmom did a good job of raising him for 14 years.

Sabrina Fulton was an an absent mother until 2010 when Treyvons dad dumped treyvon on her so he could pursue his new squeeze, Britanni Green, for whom who he was in the process of leaving his wife and getting a divorce when Treyvon was shot.

Until 2010, it seems Treyvon may actually have been a pretty good kid because of the influence of his stepmom.

Green and Martin were out of town at a Mason’s convention when Treyvon was shot and may have left both he and Green’s son home alone.

They did not find out about the shooting for over three days.

The truth is that both of Treyvons parents failed him badly at a critical time in his life and their irresponsible parenting help pave the way for Treyvons decent into drugs, violence and a gangster life style.

I was there right next to her. I could feel her sincerity and honesty with every word she spoke. You guys would not be saying such horrible things if you were in that room Friday night. The spirit of sadness filled the air and people came together to mourn a CHILD’s life. Audience mourned for their individual family members and all I could do was feel sad for her.
