MILWAUKEE — The Missouri Comets have ended the Wave’s indoor soccer season for the 2nd straight year in the semi-finals of the playoffs.
After losing game one Sunday in Missouri, coach Keith Tozer’s team rallied from a 9-6 fourth quarter deficit to force the 15 minute mini-game with a 12-9 victory on Monday night at the U.S. Cellular Arena.
But the Comets, who handed the Wave their only 4 losses during the regular season, won “game 3”, 6-2.
