MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Laacke & Joys is moving its manufacturing division to Brookfield from downtown Milwaukee after buying a building on Monday, March 10th.

In 2012, Laacke & Joys sold its Milwaukee building on N. Water Street.

They closed the store on the building’s first floor, but still has its manufacturing operations on its upper floors.

Laacke & Joys manufactures products including pads for medical imaging equipment and other healthcare equipment and parking meter covers.

There is no word yet on when the move will happen.

    Interesting though that the article made no mention of the retail store already moving their retail operations to the store on Bluemound. They made some really cool updates to the inside of the store. Best of luck to them!
